Are you looking for a place to get involved? Here at NBWC we encourage people to be a part of a program or ministry. What are your giftings? Chances are, we have a place that’s right for you. Here are a number of different areas where you can lend a hand.
Opportunities for involvement include weekly small group leadership,
set-up and take-down, fundraising,
etc. Lots of different ways to help. Let Pastor Tony know what you
can do, and he can
likely
use you!
Our Ushers and Greeters are critical to our Sunday mornings. Greeters
get the first opportunity to make people feel welcome as they greet
them and give them a bulletin. Ushers help people feel comfortable as
they help people find seating, and answer any questions people might
have.
Our nursery staff are entrusted with an important responsibility: to
take care of children under the age of 2. If working with children
is an area that interests you, and you’re a regular attender at
NBWC, let us know!
Each week, between 50-100 children attend Kids Church. It’s a
great time for kids to be together, have a blast and learn about the
Bible. We’re always looking for Kids Church leaders to lead games,
stories, and lessons for children’s classes. It’s a lot
of fun!
Each week at the office we prepare enough bulletins for 300 people.
Helping to fold and assemble the bulletin is an easy, but critical
job. No special skills here, just a willingness to help and work
with friendly
people!
There are many opportunities for you to contribute to the NBWC website.
This is more than a website, it's a web outreach. Opportunities for
you to get involved include writing, editing, photography, chat room
hosts, chat room contributors, discussion forum moderators, website
checkers, Internet surfers/researchers, email responders, graphic
designers, pray-ers, marketing and promotions, website card distributors,
and more.
If you're interested in getting involved, talk to us and we will
be happy to help you find a role that matches your gifts and your
availability.
